Great Texas experience with amazing southwestern food.

Salsa Limón

This started as a late night food truck parked outside the cellar and has evolved into an amazing taco restaurant with many locations! Try the hot salsa – its SO hot!

TCU

Buffalo Brothers

3015 South University Drive
Highly recommend trying not only the wings, but the pepperoni pizza and fries. You can typically find us there before and/or after all TCU sporting events!

Dutch’s Hamburgers

And one more burger place 🙂 Another staple on the TCU diet. Back in the day they used to have 3 dollar pitchers on Wednesday’s.

Fred’s Texas Cafe

Forth Worth staple – the OG of good hamburgers in Fort Worth.

Long before you could find these all across the US, we were getting our fuzzy’s tacos and quest between Classes and until 3am when they closed. Even though they have gone corporate with their expansion (which included redoing the current restaurant and “cleaning it up”), it is still a great place to try! Pro tip – don’t get the wine.

While Chris is not happy this is on the list – this is one of Kara’s favorite breakfast spots. The bacon, egg and cheese croissant could make any morning (or afternoon) better!
